How to reach San Cristobal de las Casas?

The airport can handle 350 operations daily and 850,000 passengers every year. It has a commercial and general aviation apron, a military base, and commercial terminals equipped with six jetways. There are many cheap flights that you can get to reach this place quickly.
After reaching the airport, you can get a taxi to reach your lodge or accommodations. You can also get the service of the bus as you will find the local buses outside the airport. But they only take you to specific spots, not to the exact address. It’s a better recommendation that you ask the locals which include maybe your relatives of the place you are staying to pick you up as many accommodations provide the service of pickup from the airport.

Taxis in Mexico are not that expensive, and this is the case from Tuxtla to San Cristobal. A private taxi will cost you $800 Pesos around or $33 USD (as per today’s ER), so if you consider that the Taxi Driver will spend 3 hours in the car and +150 km. This is a convenient way to go to your destination.
Shared Taxi
Once you pick up your luggage, go to the exit of the airport, and there you will find Taxis that will collect other passengers to drive them to San Cristobal de las Casas. The cost per person is around $10 -USD 15, and you will share the ride with another 3 -5 persons.
With this option, you will arrive at the door of your hotel or lodge, so it is a perfect option if you are traveling with friends or family.
By Bus
Go to https://www.clickbus.com.mx/ and buy your tickets. The cost of the ride starts at $10 USD. Once at the airport, look for the bus station, and you will be able to travel from the Airport to the Bus Station in San Cristobal.
Just be aware of your time schedule since Buses to San Cristobal de las Casas are not running after 7 – 8 pm.
