To the south of Puerto Vallarta are Las Animas and Quimixto, two typical fishing villages that retain their charm and can only be reached by boat. Before arriving, there is the iconic “Los Arcos de Mismaloya”, a protected area where visitors can snorkel to observe a wide variety of marine species.
Firstly, our boat trips in the morning to visit these mysterious places. From the sea, you will have the privilege of observing incredible views of Puerto Vallarta, and our experienced guides will explain its history, climate, traditions and the best places to visit.
Upon arriving at Los Arcos de Mismaloya, you can dive into the sea to snorkel and appreciate a lot of colourful fish. We will be there for about 30 minutes.
Then, two groups are formed: those that remain in Las Animas and those that go to Quimixto. At the same time, people who go to Quimixto will have the opportunity to visit the city and a waterfall that can be reached on foot or on horseback (some local providers provide this service).
Those who stay in Las Animas can enjoy up to three hours of the sand, ocean and excellent restaurant service.
Finally, on the way back from Quimixto, people who stayed in Las Animas will board the boat to start enjoying the national open bar meanwhile we will wait for those who went to the waterfall to have lunch and return to Puerto Vallarta together (during the trip, we organise games, raffles, dances and a great party atmosphere).
